Roseville Youth Basketball Association

Our Mission

RYBA is an all-volunteer community organization serving residents and students of the city of Roseville, Minnesota, and Independent School District 623. Our coaches, assistants, directors, board members, and officers donate their time and talents to help provide athletic opportunities for the boys and girls who participate in our basketball programs. For information about volunteer opportunities with RYBA, please contact President Debby Willmus or any of our board members.

Travel Parents - Volunteering during RYBA Tournaments

Travel Parents - please note a change in volunteering for the 2013-2014 season.  Families of BOYS players will work the Girls tournament in December and familes of GIRLS players will work the Boys tournament in February.  We are hoping this change will allow you to watch your son's/daughter's games during the Roseville tourneys.  More info to follow!

If applying for Financial Aid - please read information in policy below

These documents can provide information for those in need of financial assistance.

If you still have more questions, email RYBA President Debby Willmus or call her at 612-865-7655.

Weather Cancellation Policy

RYBA has use of the facilities as long as weather permits that they are open.  If a school is closed due to inclement weather, then there will be no practices held there that night.  RYBA does not have the final determination as to whether or not gyms will be available due to bad weather; that decision can also be made by the school district or Roseville Parks and Rec.  Even if a school is not closed due to weather, the individual coaches can cancel practice at their discretion if they feel that travel to and from practice would be too difficult.  If they do that, they will call their players.
